Anchor Barrow has its own onsite kitchen and it’s very own catering trailer.
Breakfast is served which will be open every morning serving a variety of breakfast options as well as Artisan Coffee and other hot drinks.
Feast nights are Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The themes of these nights will vary and our social media will keep you updated as to what is on the menu each week. Each feast night is always accompanied by a local acoustic musician. The Barrow Bar is open every day serving local draught ciders, lagers and ales, as well as excellent local spirts. We personally think that Cornwall offers the best G&T’s.
Head Chef at Anchor Barrow
Hi Guys,
I'm Mikey the head chef at Anchor Barrow.
I have Known Tony and Levi for 10 years. Recently, when I was asked if I would be interested in being (Head) Chef at Anchor Barrow, I jumped at the chance! I qualified as a Chef over 20 years ago and since then I have been fortunate to work in a variety of settings here in the UK and France, ranging from traditional gastro pubs through to working with a Michelin guided Chef, Bruce Rennie at the Gurnard's Head.
I have an imaginative and creative approach to my work and design my menus with style and finesse to suit all tastes and settings. I choose a simple approach, that is all about ensuring the food that I produce is full of flavour. I am excited to now be part of the Anchor Barrow Team and producing wholesome, hearty food which is full of flavour and goodness. I am passionate about working with produce that has been sourced locally and served in beautiful surroundings.
I am looking forward to providing you with a varying breakfast menu and exciting feast nights 3-4 evenings a week. I am currently brainstorming ideas and look forward to sharing them with you soon.
Bring on Summer 2024!!
