Barrow Bar
The site has its own Cornish stocked Barrow Bar.It has an impressive array of Cornish spirits and local draught beers and ciders. We work directly with the distilleries and brewery’s who educate us on how best to ensure the perfect serve for our campers. They suggest beautiful cocktails. We feel strongly that the products served from the Barrow Bar are reasonably priced and all locally produced. It will be open daily until the sun goes down! A few times a week Anchor Barrow welcomes local musicians for you to enjoy.

Wash-Up Area-

There is a large covered food preparation/ wash-up area with a large communal under-counter fridge. There is a freezer which campers are welcome to use for ice blocks only. There are plug sockets around these two areas for appliances. We have recently installed a device charging locker where you can securely charge your devices for a small cost. We have an onsite Laundrette with detergent loaded large washing machines and tumble driers. An easy way to reduce all that post holiday washing!

The Breakfast Trailer is open daily between 8-10:30.

Every day brings a delicious menu. There is always a variety of fresh pastries which are also locally sourced. We an extensive coffee menu served by our barista trained staff with locally roasted coffee from Cornico. Along with Cornish Tea available and a selection of fresh juices.

Facilities-

Our facilities are modern, immaculate and of high quality. We have toilets, sinks, mirrors, hot waterfall showers, hair dryers and baby changing stations. There are two spacious disabled wet rooms, these spaces have received complements from our service users.

Onsite Shop-

Anchor Barrow has a licensed onsite shop offering camping essentials such as meat, milk, bread, eggs, alcohol along with some forgotten items and Cornish goodies. We are passionate about using local suppliers to bring you the best of what Cornwall has to offer.

As the campsite is owned by a butcher it would be rude not to offer our campers the best. Tony offers deliveries from Chapmans Family Butchers up to the site. There are BBQ meat packs available to order on site which are delivered for your convenience. They were incredibly popular last year many of our campers kindly highlighted the quality of the produce in their reviews.

Pet friendly

Anchor Barrow also caters for your four-legged friends. We have a large dog roaming area for your dogs to stretch their legs after being cooped up in the car. There are dog waste bins situated round the site. There are dog water points and lead points around the facilities. Next to the outdoor showers there is a cold outdoor shower if your four-legged friend is anything like ours and brings half the beach back with him 🙂
